What would happen if, instead of stuffing a sausage casing with meat (or a meat substitute), I stuffed it with cupcake batter? I had to try my take on a chocolate salami!<\/p>\n\n\n

I baked up my standard chocolate cupcake recipe<\/strong><\/a> inside of sausage casings and ended up with chocolate cupcake dessert sausage – Cupcakewurst.<\/p>\n\n\n

Since I couldn’t leave well enough alone, I threw them on the grill. I heated them for a few minutes on each side.<\/p>\n\n\n

Then, I added a “bun” and some “ketchup” – a Long John doughnut and raspberry sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n
