We eat them immediately!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need an apple, a little sugar, and cinnamon (optional).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will also need a waffle iron to make this recipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of my favorite apples to use are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Honeycrisp<\/li><li>Gala<\/li><li>Granny Smith<\/li><li>Jonathan<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Choose an apple that is nice and crisp<\/strong>. You don&#8217;t want one that will turn into mush when baking. For a more complete list of apples, check out Bon Appetit&#8217;s article on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonappetit.com\/test-kitchen\/cooking-tips\/article\/the-3-best-apples-to-use-for-baking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer noopener noreferrer\">best apples to bake with<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-it-s-made\">How It&#8217;s Made<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preheat your waffle iron.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Slice apples in rings to just over 1\/4&#8243; thick.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dust with cinnamon and sugar.<\/strong> The baked apples are good on their own, but they are even better with cinnamon and sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Always make sure to grease your waffle iron.<\/strong> You can use a non-stick baking spray or simply run a butter stick over the hot waffle iron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Place one apple slice in each section of the waffle iron<\/strong>, close, and bake for one minute.
