As I say in the recipe, the dough is really sticky. You do need a lot of flour. Yes, it’s not the easiest dough to work with, but it’s SO tasty in the end.

Chocolate Rugelach are my favorite Rugelach! Seriously, once I get started eating these, it’s impossible to stop at just one. Rugelach are always one of the first to disappear on my holiday cookie trays. The texture of your dough looks fantastic, and I wish I had a plateful of these in front of me right now with my morning cup of coffee!

I am not Jewish, but I live in Boca Raton, which I think has the third largest Jewish community in the world (or maybe that’s just what they say around here) — and we are chock full of Jewish Delis. My point is, I’ve had my fair share of rughelach and yours looks legit! I love the chocolate cream cheese filling and I can see how an entire tray would be devoured in one sitting at my house! Lovely work!

I’m both enticed by and impressed by your claims in the first sentence. Bold, but believable. These look amazing! I mean, chocolate rugelach is always going to get my attention, but adding that cream cheese in the filling while also using a cream cheese batter – it’s perfect. I could eat way, way too many of these.
