Sorry you found it too salty. I like my frostings on the salty side as I find that it cuts the super sugary flavor. Also, your white chocolate might have been salty to begin with. With frosting, it never hurts to do a taste test before adding salt, vanilla, or other flavors to make sure that it is to your taste.

Hello I made your recipe above to the letter but can’t work out why it tastes salty! it was beautiful until I added the salt. What did I do wrong? And yes – definitely used unsalted butter. Is there any way I can fix it? Thanks
