I loved this so much!! This worked so well! The apples were delicious! I even served them to my husband on Father’s Day, he was asking where I got them and I told him that a made them and he was amazed! Haha! I will be making these a lot more often!

We use a damp paper on a warm waffle iron to clean it. Of course, the microwave is easier, it just isn’t quite as cute and they come out a little differently.

Carmelized sugar sticks like glue to the
surface , even with liberal use of non-stick cooking spray.
Cute idea, but I will be using microwave instead from now on.
