Sorry your cake didn’t work out. I do mention turning off these boost modes in the post and in the recipe instructions as they will ruin the cake (as you experienced).

It was a total loss of expensive ingredients. I have had my new oven for 4 years and it generally goes to a “rapid preheat process” when I turn on the oven. This is the only idea I could come up with for this disaster. Has anybody had this problem? I’m fearful of investing these ingredients again should I have the same result.
